About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic, data-driven Branch Strategy Support Analyst to join Branch Channel Management's Strategy & Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical and technical skills who is eager to support strategic initiatives related to our branch strategy. The analyst will play a key role in pulling and manipulating large data sets, conducting analysis and extracting insights that influence strategy, and developing presentations that influence bank strategy and drive financial results.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at .In this role, you will:Data Collection & Preparation:Gather and organize data from internal and external sources to support branch strategy decisions in SQL and excel.Clean, validate, and manipulate large datasetsAnalytical Support:Conduct basic analyses to support the business case for critical real estate decisions (i.e. Denovos, Consolidations)Summarize findings in clear, concise formats for review by senior analysts and leadershipAbility to extract key insights from data and visualize via chartsConduct Financial ValuationsDemonstrate the ability to understand key drivers of bank profitabilityAbility to work with and develop simple financial valuation models & frameworksPresentation & Documentation:Create PowerPoint slides and charts for executive and stakeholder reviewProcess Improvement:Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data workflows and improve the efficiency of recurring tasksTeam Collaboration:Work closely with GIS Analysts, Data Analysts, Strategy Leads, Business Execution Consultants, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project componentsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and planning sessionsRequired Qualifications: 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Advanced proficiency with manipulating large data sets with SQLAdvanced proficiency with building PowerPoint slides, analysis in excel, and extracting/sharing insights by creating intuitive and concise chartsFamiliarity with Tableau and PowerBIExcellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable formatFamiliarity with business case development for physical locationsKnowledge of the banking industry and key drivers of profitabilityExperience with market segmentation, market strategy, geospatial analyticsPrevious experience in banking, consulting, or a strategy & analytics roleJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeThis position offers a hybrid work scheduleThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Posting Location(s): 401 S Tryon St. - Charlotte, North Carolina 282823075 Loyalty Cir. - Columbus, OH 432192700 S Price Rd. - Chandler, Arizona 85286401 Las Colinas Blvd. Bldg B - Irving, Texas, 75039550 S 4th St. - Minneapolis, Minnesota 55415Required locations listed.
