Boomi Integration Engineer

Description Boomi Integration Engineer Remote Contract Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing organization in Austin, Texas to hire a Boomi Integration Engineer. This position will focus on building and maintaining enterprise integrations across critical business platforms, with a strong emphasis on Dell Boomi in a mixed cloud and on-premises environment. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented technical specialist who can deliver reliable interface solutions, improve system connectivity, and support ongoing application performance across the enterprise. Responsibilities: u2022 Design, develop, and enhance integration solutions between ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications using Dell Boomi. u2022 Monitor existing interfaces, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data flow issues to maintain stable system operations. u2022 Partner with technical and business teams to define integration needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions. u2022 Create and maintain reusable integration processes, mappings, and documentation to support long-term maintainability. u2022 Optimize integration performance, reliability, and error handling across cloud-based and on-premises systems. u2022 Support deployment activities, testing efforts, and post-implementation validation for new and updated integrations. u2022 Contribute to improvements involving enterprise application connectivity, including changes tied to broader platform or process updates. u2022 Ensure data exchanges align with security, governance, and operational standards within the enterprise environment. Requirements u2022 Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. u2022 Expert experience developing enterprise integrations with Dell Boomi (5+ years). u2022 Proven ability to work with ERP, CRM, and related business systems in complex environments. u2022 Experience supporting integrations across both cloud platforms and on-premises applications. u2022 Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve interface and data issues efficiently. u2022 Understanding of integration architecture, data mapping, API connectivity, and middleware best practices. u2022 Ability to document technical solutions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. u2022 Boomi Developer or Architect Certification, highly preferred. u2022 Familiarity with different data formats, such as JSON, XML, and CSV. u2022 Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java or Python. u2022 Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization tools, such as Docker or Kubernetes. u2022 Experience working with Oracle applications (e.g RMS/MFCS, ReSA/SACS, RDF). u2022 Experience in EDI transactions (850, 856, 860, 870).
