The Lifestyle Coach is responsible for guiding and motivating individuals towards achieving their health and wellness goals by delivering expert instruction in fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle management. The Coach will participate in various evidence-based programs at the YMCA, such as: Diabetes Preventative Program, Enhance Fitness, and Clinical Conditioning, which involve leading group training classes, offering personalized coaching, and providing support for individuals with various health conditions, such as diabetes, trauma-related injuries, cancer and other physical impairments. The Coach will demonstrate proper techniques, offer workout modifications to ensure safety, and create a positive, engaging environment that fosters community and personal growth. Additionally, this position involves administrative tasks such as maintaining client records, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.
