Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support informed business decisions through detailed reporting, forecasting, and performance insights in West Hollywood. This is a contract position suited for someone who is detail oriented and can translate financial data into clear recommendations and build tools that improve visibility into key trends. The role calls for strong analytical judgment, comfort working with complex datasets, and the ability to present findings in a practical, business-focused way. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop financial models to evaluate performance, forecast outcomes, and support planning initiatives across the business. u2022 Conduct in-depth reviews of financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that influence decision-making. u2022 Prepare ad hoc analyses for leadership by turning large or complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. u2022 Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, then explain key drivers. u2022 Use data mining methods to uncover patterns, validate assumptions, and improve the accuracy of financial reporting. u2022 Design and maintain dashboards that present meaningful metrics and help stakeholders monitor business performance. u2022 Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, refine assumptions, and align analysis with operational priorities. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a corporate, consulting, or related business environment. u2022 Strong capability in building and maintaining financial models for forecasting, budgeting, or scenario planning. u2022 Hands-on experience delivering ad hoc analysis in response to changing business needs and leadership requests. u2022 Solid understanding of variance analysis and the ability to explain performance fluctuations clearly. u2022 Proficiency in working with large datasets and applying data mining techniques to generate insights. u2022 Experience creating dashboards and translating financial information into easy-to-understand visual reporting. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
