Adecco is assisting a client recruiting for Warehouse Associate opportunities with a leading provider of asset-light transportation solutions specializing in truck brokerage, managed transportation, freight forwarding, and last-mile delivery. If this sounds like a good fit for you, apply today Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: u00b7 Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise u00b7 Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute materials for processing u00b7 Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents u00b7 Load, unload, move, and stage freight within the warehouse u00b7 Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate shipments u00b7 Take check calls from drivers and verify load information for delivery and accounting purposes u00b7 Participate in inventory counts and product assembly as needed u00b7 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment u00b7 Follow all safety procedures and company policies Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered: u00b7 High school diploma or equivalent u00b7 Basic written and verbal communication skills u00b7 Basic computer skills u00b7 Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs u00b7 Ability to load and unload trucks and work in a fast-paced environment u00b7 Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions u00b7 Flexibility to work evening/night shifts Preferred Qualifications: u00b7 Previous warehouse or dock experience in the transportation industry u00b7 Experience loading and unloading trailers u00b7 Experience using handheld scanners u00b7 Ability to apply critical thinking in daily tasks Whatu2019s in this position for you? u00b7 Pay: $ 18.00/hour u00b7 Schedule: 2:30 PM u2013 1:00 AM 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week (3 days off) u00b7 Weekly paycheck u00b7 Opportunity to gain experience in a leading transportation and logistics company u00b7 Fast-paced and team-oriented environment Additional Details: u00b7 Onsite position u00b7 Must be comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 75 lbs) u00b7 Background check required This position is being recruited by a centralized team and not your local Branch.
