Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Title: Supplier Quality EngineerJob Description The role of a Supplier Quality Engineer is to drive exceptional product quality that exceeds customer expectations while ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing cost quality. This position focuses on effective and accurate supplier quality processes to guarantee product quality, cost-effectiveness, and the safe and efficient operation of equipment. Responsibilities + Develop and manage supplier quality plans through appropriate risk analysis. + Support ISO 9000 Quality Process Requirements. + Support implementation of initiatives related to supplier processes and improvements. + Ensure Corrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed at assigned suppliers. + Evaluate the need for quality data/reports and provide required quality information beneficial to the specified processes. + Perform supplier quality audits as required by the verification plan or by the Quality Manager. + Identify non-conforming materials and workmanship, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective short and long-term corrective actions. + Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives. + Write and submit reports as required for audits, inspections, rejects, root causes, etc. Essential Skills + Supplier quality + Quality engineering + Quality assurance + PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) + Root cause analysis Work Environment The role involves 30% to 40% travel. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hamel, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $84000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
