OFSAA Developer

Description A financial entity is seeking an OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) Developer/SME to support its ongoing profitability, scale readiness, and regulatory reporting projects. They rely on OFSAAA applications suite to calculate profitability by account which can be rolled up by product, customer, and organization to provide data for financial and risk reporting. The application collects account, customer and transaction information from the Enterprise Data Warehouse as well as some direct source systems. The data is used to calculate transfer pricing, loan loss reserve, equity, profit contribution, and other financial data for use in financial reporting, marketing, risk, and numerous other downstream bank applications. Towards this end, the client leverages OFSAA 8.1.0 applications suite along with the clients IBM DB2 Data Warehouse, DataStage ETL, Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling. The data captured and processed in the OFSAA data foundation layer serves as a data source for the banku2019s BI applications and is the source of truth for the banku2019s financials. This position will be required to maintain, enhance, and work with these applications as needed, ensure all IT SDLC processes are documented and practiced, work extremely close with the finance business team on process improvements and enhancements requested to the data, software, and cross impact other bank applications as code and processes change. Responsibilities include: u2022 Configuration, development, patching/upgrades, and customization of the following modules: OFSAAI, OFSALM, OFSFTP, OFSPFT, OFSADIH and OFSDF u2022 Data Mapping of staging and reporting, EDW to OFSAA, T2T development u2022 Perform other duties, as needed in support of the overall Data Warehouse implementation u2022 Working closely with finance to evaluate monthly business requirements, participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployments u2022 Understanding of the banku2019s financial statements and how the attributes of those financials interact together Basic Qualifications: u2022 3-5 years supporting OFSAA 8.1.0 and OFSAA 8.1.2 u2022 Experience in OFSAA patching, monitoring, and performance tuning u2022 Erwin Data Modelling Experience Required u2022 Basic Unix/Linux scripting experience u2022 ETL, PL/SQL programming experience u2022 SQL Developer, Toad experience u2022 Bachelor's degree u2022 5+ years of Data Warehouse experience u2022 5+ years of application development and implementation experience Preferred Qualifications: u2022 5+ years of financial services/banking experience u2022 Experience in merging models from different OFSAA instances u2022 Zena Enterprise Job Scheduling knowledge u2022 Strong understanding of bank terminology and finance related topics u2022 Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment u2022 Excellent troubleshooting, organizational and analytical skills u2022 Willingness and aptitude for continuous improvement u2022 Do the right thing attitude while being a strong team player u2022 Strong communication and collaboration skills, focus on customer service Skills ofsaa, edw, patching, data modeling Top Skills Details ofsaa,edw,patching,data modeling Additional Skills & Qualifications Screening Questions ONLY over the phone What are the ALM, FTP, & PFT modules used for in financial institutions?
