This role sits at the intersection of flight software, avionics, and mission operations, ensuring technical efforts are integrated, de-risked, and aligned to mission readiness.This position will be located in the Westminster, CO office and has the ability to work from home two days a week and on-site three days per week. The TPM will drive coordination acrossSpaceSystems,Engineering,andOperationsteams to deliver robust, flight-ready capabilities—from software development through launch, early orbit operations (LEOP), commissioning, andacross the vehicle mission life.This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong technical depth, program execution discipline, and the ability tonavigateacross hardware, software, and mission operations domainsin a performance-oriented environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end execution of internal technical programs spanning flight software, avionics, and mission operations readinessDrive program planning, scheduling, and tracking, ensuring delivery against technical,resource,cost, and schedule commitmentsCoordinate across systems engineering, hardware, and software teams to ensure alignment on scope, interfaces, dependencies, and deliverablesPartner with TPMs and systems engineers tomaintaincohesion and visibility across multiple concurrent programsLead internal flight software initiatives, including optimization, performance tuning, resiliency improvements, and system hardeningOversee development of edge compute capabilities and manage vendor execution for onboard processing systemsEnsure alignment between avionics architecture and flight software to support mission and performance objectivesDrive planning and execution readiness for LEOP and commissioning, including timelines, dependencies, and operational constraintsPartner with operational readiness teams to develop andvalidateground system readiness for new constellations (procedures, tooling, and workflows)Ensure cross-team alignment on concepts of operations (CONOPS) and contingency response strategiesLead risk identification and mitigation across programs, with a focus on de-risking on-orbit operationsDrive development andutilizationofflatsatand hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments for integration and validationPartner with systems engineering to define, track, and execute verification and validation strategies to ensure system reliability prior to launchMinimum Qualifications:U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor’s degree in engineering,physics, or related technical field5-10+ years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or related roles in aerospace or complex systems.Experience working with flight software, avionics systems,andspacecraft developmentStrong understanding of system integration, interface control, and cross-disciplinary engineering coordinationDemonstrated ownership ofcomplex, multi-team technical programs from development through operationsExperiencewithFlatsat, HIL testing, or similar integrationand testenvironmentsStrong communicationskills with the ability tooperateacross technical and programmatic stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting spacecraft through launch, LEOP, and commissioningBackground in mission operations or mission control systemsExperience with onboard computing or edge processing architecturesActive TS/SCI clearanceWhy Join UsYou’lljoin a team responsible for defining themission, satellite, and payload architecturebehind next-generation space constellations. The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $107,000.00 - $179,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
