Our diverse workforce and perspectives strengthen our ability to deliver safe, innovative construction solutions.Prepare preliminary and detailed drawings by hand or using computer-aided drafting softwarePrepare construction plans, material requirements, and cost estimates for electrical distribution overhead and underground projectsAssist in the development of conductor replacement, structure replacements, and other major Overhead and Underground projectsReview field data, photos, etc. to meet the requirements of the latest updates and technologies of the customerWork on multiple projects simultaneously and meet all requirementsMeet with clients to gather technical requirementsTranslate Wind Loading / Pole Loading/compliance formsCoordinate access to professional/private facilities (e.g., schools, hospitals, military bases, etc.) when applicableAssist in field site meetings; meet with develops, customers, and local agenciesWork in a team environmentCommunicate with internal staff and customers with appropriate media (email, fax, phone, video, etc.)Field check design layoutsOffice check designs and redline changesRecognize process waste and suggest changesWork in a team environmentHigh attention to detailTime management; prioritizing work and documenting tasksReporting anomalies to project management stakeholders through established tools or verballyWearing and utilizing all required safety PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) with situational awarenessWork in a safe manner always. This includes, but is not limited to, driving safely, stretching twice a day, good posture/ergonomics, and following all safety rulesKeeping a clean and organized workstation both physically and virtuallyRearranging work area to optimize safety and/or productivityPunctual for daily start time and meetingsFill out time keeping/accounting documentation on a daily or weekly basisQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of electrical transmission and/or distribution experienceKnowledge of Power Delivery Projects both Overhead and UndergroundKnowledge of Power Distribution Design Standards, Power Overhead and Underground Construction Standards, Power Electrical Service Requirements, California PUC General Order 95, General Order 128, and Joint Pole Handbook.Familiarity with maintenance and operation of electrical overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electrical distribution facilities, energized at voltages between 0 - 50KVExperience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Autodesk AutoCAD, and pole structural analysis softwareCompensation Range:$45 - $70 per hour (depending on experience)
