Fire Systems Field Service Technician

We are currently looking for Fire Systems Field Service Technician. The technician will be travelling domestically up to 50% of the time and up to 2 weeks at a time. The Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service/installation of various pieces of fire protection equipment. The Field Technician must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to interact positively with customers. Location: Scotia NY 12302 Compensation and Benefits + Starting at $28-$29 per hour + Health Vision and Dental after 30 days + 120 hours of PTO/Sick Pay + 10 Paid Holidays + 401(k) + Employee Discount Programs + Advancement Opportunities with direct hire potential Job Description: Responsibilities: u2022 Install stainless steel high-pressure tubing and pipe fittings u2022 Install flexible low-voltage conduit and perform wire terminations u2022 Read and interpret schematics and technical documents u2022 Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies u2022 Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues u2022 Perform preventive maintenance on fire suppression systems u2022 Support system startup, commissioning, and decommissioning u2022 Maintain OSHA and safety compliance Qualifications: u2022 High School Diploma or GED u2022 Valid driveru2019s license u2022 1+ year experience in fire suppression, low voltage, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred u2022 Ability to read schematics and technical procedures u2022 Understanding of low-voltage DC circuits u2022 Experience with stainless tubing, pipe fitting, or mechanical assembly preferred u2022 Strong safety mindset and reliable work history u2022 Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
