IT Infra Project Manager

Description Our healthcare client is looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate medium to large-scale IT initiatives that support the ongoing transformation and expansion of sites in Nassau County & Queens. This role requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional IT projects in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have progressed from a hands-on technical role (such as desktop or technical support) into project management and understands how to effectively coordinate across multiple IT disciplines. Top Skills: + Clinical build outs in a healthcare environment. + Own project budgeting, including cost estimation, tracking, forecasting, and reporting. + Experience within MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) Key Responsibilities: u2022 Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. u2022 Coordinate across multiple IT teams including structured cabling, construction, desktop support, networking, AV, and related infrastructure groups. u2022 Identify when to engage appropriate technical teams and ensure seamless collaboration across stakeholders. u2022 Partner with construction and facilities teams to support campus transformation initiatives. u2022 Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. u2022 Own project budgeting, including cost estimation, tracking, forecasting, and reporting. u2022 Facilitate large stakeholder meetings, including agenda creation, leading discussions, and documenting outcomes, risks, and action items. u2022 Maintain thorough project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project artifacts. u2022 Act as a liaison between IT teams and clinical staff, ensuring technology solutions align with operational and patient care needs. u2022 Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and drive mitigation strategies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mineola, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $75.00/hr.
