Project Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of a complex eCommerce initiative. This long-term contract position calls for a hands-on leader who can bring structure, clarify priorities, and guide a fragmented cross-functional team from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate understands the technical, marketing, and operational components of online commerce projects and can keep stakeholders aligned on scope, timelines, and accountability. Responsibilities: u2022 Direct the project lifecycle from kickoff through launch, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed. u2022 Lead cross-functional teams by establishing clear ownership, improving collaboration, and maintaining accountability across all workstreams. u2022 Define, refine, and control project scope to keep deliverables aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. u2022 Coordinate eCommerce implementation activities spanning platform configuration, technical execution, marketing readiness, and operational planning. u2022 Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and use structured project management practices to track progress and remove delivery obstacles. u2022 Maintain project plans, status reporting, and issue logs within Jira and other PMO tools to provide visibility to leadership and team members. u2022 Partner with stakeholders to resolve ambiguities, make informed decisions, and keep the initiative moving in a focused direction. u2022 Provide guidance on WooCommerce-related efforts when applicable, helping the team navigate implementation details and platform-specific considerations. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end eCommerce implementation projects in a lead project management capacity. u2022 Strong command of formal project management methodologies, including Agile Scrum and structured delivery governance. u2022 Proven ability to drive scope alignment, enforce accountability, and organize fragmented teams around common objectives. u2022 Proficiency with Jira and related project tracking tools used in PMO environments. u2022 Solid understanding of the technical, marketing, and operational elements involved in launching or enhancing eCommerce platforms. u2022 WooCommerce experience is strongly preferred, or comparable experience leading implementation work for similar eCommerce solutions. u2022 PMP certification is preferred. u2022 Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence decisions across functions.
