Security & Identity Engineer

Description We are proactively building a pipeline of Security & Identity Engineers for upcoming enterprise opportunities. This role focuses on enhancing security across identity, endpoint protection, email security, and network access. Key Responsibilities + Design and implement identity and access controls, including Conditional Access + Administer Microsoft security tools, including Defender and Purview + Support data governance and compliance initiatives + Manage email security platforms such as Proofpoint + Monitor risks related to Shadow IT/AI usage + Support network security modernization efforts, including Zscaler + Manage PKI and certificate lifecycle processes + Collaborate on security improvements, audits, and incident response Requirements What Weu2019re Looking For + Experience with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Azure AD / Entra ID + Background in email security and secure web gateways (e.g., Zscaler) + Understanding of PKI, identity security, and network security concepts + Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills Soft Skills + Strong communication and collaboration abilities + Proactive, team-oriented mindset + Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement Nice to Have + Experience with legacy-to-cloud security transitions + Exposure to Cisco firewalls and hybrid environments + Familiarity with AI-related security risks Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.u00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
