deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an IR PLUME Jr. System Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.Position Description:u00a0deciBel Research is seeking a junior level System Engineer to develop high fidelity threat missile Infrared (IR) signature data packages for the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA's) Threat Modeling Center (TMC) at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.Responsibilities Include:u2022 Gain experience with threat model phenomenology with a focus on IR signaturesu2022 Research into IR signature predictions and simulation modelsu2022 Actively work with the team to ensure completion of data production needs in support of MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulationu2022 Work in close coordination with TSE engineers for software requirements of threat modeling toolsu2022 Understand stakeholder requirements and ensure the quality production of threat missile dataTarget salary range: $75,000 - $100,000.
