Please learnmore about us here: Link to Executive Office of Veterans Services/ AboutUs Position Summary: EOVS is seeking a dynamic and experiencedInformation Technology (IT) Director who will be responsible foroverseeing daily IT operations across the Secretariat, ensuring thattechnology systems, infrastructure, and services effectively support thework of EOVS. Reporting to the Secretariat Chief Information Officer(SCIO), the IT Director plays a key role in implementing technicalsolutions, supporting users, maintaining system security, and ensuringreliable infrastructure performance. The IT Director collaborates withleadership and staff to deliver efficient, secure, and accessible ITservices that enhance operations and support Veterans and theirfamilies. This position provides hands-on management of projects,systems, and IT staff, and will develop and implement related technologystrategies and policies. The primary work location for this role will be15 New Chardon Street, Boston, 02114. This position is expected tofollow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-officeworkdays and work from home days as needed. Occasional travel to localEOVS affiliated offices may be required. This position may be requiredto be available outside of established work schedule, including weekendsand holidays. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Lead and manage the agency?s IT infrastructure, ensuring secure,reliable, and scalable systems across hardware, software, networks, andcloud environments Oversee the performance, maintenance, and continuousimprovement of enterprise technology platforms, including servicemanagement, cloud services, and data storage solutions Ensure highsystem availability and uptime to support uninterrupted businessoperations Provide strategic oversight of enterprise andline-of-business applications supporting EOVS programs (e.g., benefits,housing, outreach, employment) Direct the optimization of the ITenvironment, including networks, servers, and communication systemsDevelop and implement the organization?s AI strategy in alignment withbusiness goals and regulatory requirements Provide executive oversightof the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform to ensure alignment withclinical, operational, and compliance standards Lead cybersecurityefforts to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with federal andstate regulations Conduct risk assessments, security audits, andvulnerability testing to proactively identify and mitigate threatsDevelop and enforce data privacy, security policies, and governanceframeworks Establish, maintain, and regularly test the Incident ResponsePlan (IRP), ensuring alignment with NIST and state standards Oversee ITservice delivery, including coordination with the Executive Office ofTechnology Services and Security (EOTSS) and management of ServiceNowfor helpdesk operations Implement end-user support and training programsto enhance IT literacy and optimize technology utilization Ensure thedevelopment of user-friendly, accessible systems that improve servicedelivery for Veterans Lead and manage IT projects, including planning,execution, risk management, and reporting to leadership Full jobdescription:=26000374&tz=GMT-0
