Burgess & Niple is looking for an entry level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Charleston.B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:Perform construction related services including construction observation, shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and perform field inspectionsComplete daily reports and interact with owners and B&N project manager as needed for progress updates and non-conformance reports using iPad and MS office programsCoordinate with our project teams, internally and externally and participate in project field work for the collection of data, site assessments, field verifications and related functionsProvide support for project managers and senior design engineersPerform tasks related to the design and construction of water/wastewater and utility infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD draftingPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimatesBe available to travel to other offices and project sites to provide support as neededSkills & Qualification:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program requiredEngineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Has a desire to become a PE0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plusSelf-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration toolsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
