This large‑scale, multi‑unit leadership role directs a diverse organization of 22 salaried leaders—including a Unit Controller, HR, Marketing/Communications, Training, multiple Directors, and Executive Chefs—along with 550+ hourly associates, all aligned in delivering exceptional service and operational consistency.Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Area Director provides boots‑on‑the‑ground, hands‑on leadership while driving financial performance, talent development, and program innovation. You will partner closely with district clients and internal stakeholders, spending significant time in schools building relationships, coaching leaders, ensuring operational excellence, and elevating programs across this comprehensive and highly visible account.Key Responsibilities:Monitors the overall financial performance of the accounts to ensure profitabilityEnsures consistent and fair administration of personnel policiesManages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the regionParticipates in the sales process to grow the regionPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferably in foodservice, hospitality management, dietetics, culinary or related fields.
