Job DescriptionAramark Facilities Management is hiring Sanitation Technicians to support a food production facility in Hunt Valley, MD.This is a hands-on cleaning role responsible for keeping production equipment and facility areas clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards. You will spend your shift cleaning machinery, production spaces, and surfaces using power washers and approved cleaning chemicals.This role is ideal for candidates with experience in custodial, janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning environments who are looking for steady, daytime work.The position focuses on cleaning and sanitizing equipment, production areas, and facility spaces to meet strict food safety standards. This is a hands-on, physically active role in a structured environment where safety and consistency matter.Consistent Full Time Hours, multiple shifts available.The hourly rate for this position is $16.50. For jobs in San Francisco, this includes the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.Job Responsibilities Perform industrial cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, facility areas, and/or shipping and receiving areasOperate power washers, pressure washers, and cleaning equipmentApply cleaning chemicals and sanitizers following safety guidelinesWash delivery trailers (similar to warehouse or fleet cleaning work)Must be able to stand/walk, push/pull for duration of the shiftMust be able to lift 50 lbsMay be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment that covers the head and/or faceFollow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation proceduresWork within a standards-based environment with routine inspections and auditsFollow detailed cleaning checklists and processesPerform repetitive cleaning tasks with consistency and attention to detailQualifications Required QualificationsComfortable performing custodial, janitorial, or warehouse cleaning workAbility to handle physical, repetitive tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling 50 lbs) walking, standing, moving for 8 hours a shift.Ability to understand and apply instructions and safety proceduresReliable attendance and strong work ethicMust be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicalsPreferred QualificationsExperience in custodial, janitorial, warehouse, sanitation, or manufacturing rolesExperience using pressure washers or industrial cleaning equipmentFamiliarity with GMP or food safety environmentsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
