Business Office Specialist (Healthcare)

Description Robert Half is partnering with a well-established healthcare organization in Encinitas to hire a Business Office Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare administration, billing, and accounts receivable who can thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: + Support business office operations, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable follow-up + Submit and track insurance claims; follow up on denials and unpaid balances + Participate in pre-billing review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance + Post payments and reconcile patient accounts + Communicate with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams regarding billing inquiries + Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Requirements + 1+ year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable + 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting + 1+ year of insurance billing experience required + Experience with billing audits or pre-claim review processes strongly preferred + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Systems: + Experience with EMR/billing systems (PointClickCare or similar preferred) + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook TalentMatchu00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
