Our Aviation Team is experiencing exciting growth within our established practice with a variety of interesting projects working with a diverse, multidisciplined team If you want to join a company invested in you and your success, join us The final candidate could be located in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD or Reston, Richmond or Virginia Beach, VA.When you join us, youu2019ll be responsible for the following:u2022 Work under the supervision of senior staff to perform quantity takeoffs, computer modeling, design calculations, and plan set production for military and commercial airfields including, but not limited to, such disciplines as earthwork, pavements, and drainage.u2022 Work closely on project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group.u2022 Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.u2022 Limited travel associated with this position approximately 10-20% to support our Nation-wide airport projects.u2022 Attend and/or conduct client meetings and interacts with clients both virtually and in-person.u2022 Provide engineering services that include design research and design reviews.#LI-LM1236 u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Civil Engineeringu2022 Previous professional experience in the design and/or construction of aviation infrastructure projects.u2022 Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.u2022 Registered EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.u2022 Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time.u2022 Ability to travel occasionally as needed.Ideally, youu2019ll also have:u2022 Previous design project management experienceu2022 CADD skills including AutoCADu2022 Professional Engineer (PE)Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
