Job Title: Senior Technical Trainer u2013 Data Center / Low VoltageLocation: Columbus, OH (Onsite) Overview We are seeking an experienced Sr Technical Trainer to lead highu2011impact training programs focused on telecom and data center infrastructure. This role is ideal for a handsu2011on technical professional with leadership experience who is ready to step into a training, mentorship, and program leadership position. You will play a key role in developing entryu2011level technicians into skilled data center fiber installers through classroom instruction and handsu2011on lab training. This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and teaching in a fastu2011paced training environment. Key Responsibilities + Lead structured classroom sessions of 24u201330 students + Deliver instructoru2011led training (lectures, labs, and assessments) + Break down complex telecom and data center concepts for entryu2011level learners + Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in structured cabling and data center infrastructure + Mentor and coach Associate Trainers during training delivery + Support training program development and curriculum improvements + Track student performance, conduct assessments, and report outcomes + Maintain training labs, tools, and equipment + Promote safety, quality, and best practices in all training activities + Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to enhance training effectiveness Required Qualifications + 6u20139 years of handsu2011on experience in telecom, data center, structured cabling, or similar technical environments + Strong experience with structured cabling (fiber preferred, copper required) + Proven ability to teach, mentor, or lead teams in a technical environment + Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading daily classroom sessions + Strong communication and presentation skills + Experience simplifying complex technical concepts for entryu2011level learners + Ability to manage a classroom and supervise trainees + Strong focus on safety, coaching, and handsu2011on instruction Preferred Qualifications + BICSI certification (or willingness to obtain) + Experience with instructional design or training development + Previous data center experience + Experience developing or improving technical training programs Schedule & Work Environment + 100% onsite u2013 Columbus, OH + Classroom and handsu2011on lab environment + 5 days per week structured training schedule + Highu2011volume training program with consistent delivery + Collaborative teaching model (Sr+ Associate Trainers) Compensation & Contract Details + Pay: $30u2013$35/hr + Contract role (3 months) with potential for extension + Travel may be required Benefits (if eligible) + Medical, dental, and vision coverage + 401(k) with preu2011tax and Roth options + Life insurance and disability coverage + Health Savings Account (HSA) + Employee Assistance Program + Paid time off (PTO, vacation, or sick leave) Why Apply + Step into a leadership role within a growing technical training program + Mentor and develop the next generation of data center technicians + Gain exposure to enterpriseu2011scale infrastructure projects + Influence training strategy, delivery, and program success + Transition from field work into a highu2011impact training career path Additional Requirements + Must pass BGC + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Interview Process + Two interview rounds + Technical + training evaluation + Leadership and mentorship focus Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
