Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is hiring for Day Treatment Qualified Professionals in Newton, NC. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below Location: Newton, NC Type: DIRECT HIRE Pay rate: $20 - 25/hour (depends on experience) Schedule: M-F 7:30am - 2:30/3:30pm Job Summary: Responsible for leading and managing group discussions, meetings, and workshops. Will have excellent communication skills, be able to build rapport with targeted K-12 student participants and have experience in facilitation. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Creates a nurturing environment to support children and students social, emotional, and behavioral needs; plans and coordinates group discussions, meetings, and workshops to achieve the desired outcomes u2022 Provides direct services through school-based interventions to support family preservation, meeting educational goals, and maintaining appropriate role functioning in community setting as outlined in the Child and Adolescent Day Treatment service definition u2022 Completes initial and updated crisis plans for all clients under caseload for assigned day treatment programs and contracted school or other agency programs u2022 Submits authorization requests for services/re-authorization requests within 14 days prior to expiration; keeps staff informed of changes regarding authorization and documentation u2022 Develops the initial Person-Centered Plan (PCP) and its ongoing revisions and ensuresits implementation; monitors the status of the recipientsu2019 progress and the effectiveness of the strategies and interventions outlined in the PCP u2022 Consults with identified medical and non-medical providers, engages community and natural supports, and includes their input in the PCP process u2022 Completes functional needs assessment(s) to determine the scope and anticipated outcomes to the services u2022 Handles any conflicts that may arise during the discussion and work to find common ground; works with the Clinical Director and other staff as needed to provide de-escalation and mediation with families and clients u2022 Prepares and distributes materials necessary for the meeting such as handouts, presentations, and training materials u2022 Follows-up with students after the discussion to ensure that they understand the next steps and any action items u2022 Participate sin meetings, evaluates the effectiveness of the facilitation and make Recommendations for future improvements; uses data for decision making to promote equitable implementation and outcomes u2022 Performs Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals; makes regular contact with clientu2019s family members and/or work/school personnel involved with each client u2022 Provides support through planning and coordination of services on behalf of the individual client u2022 In conjunction with the Clinical Director, reports to the Department of Social Services any incidents of suspected abuse and or neglect to the proper authorities u2022 Maintains confidentiality of the client and the clientu2019s records u2022 Completes required documentation daily (by the end of shift); documents the hours of weekly service notes reflecting the purpose of contact, interventions used and effectiveness of intervention in accordance to company policy and Medicaid regulations u2022 Effectively follows policies and procedures and abides by all guidelines, assignments and directions as set forth by the Clinical Director u2022 Closes out the shift by ensuring no materials are left out at the end of the shift; ensures the group areas are clean u2022 Ensures that incidents within the day treatment program are reported to the Clinical Director immediately u2022 Performs other duties as required or assigned by the Clinical Director and/or designee Requirements: u2022 Completion of a Bachelors Degree in a Human Service field with 2 years of pre or post Bachelors experience with Mental Health population; meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health and a minimum of two (2) years documented experience with children, adolescents, and families. u2022 Proven experience in facilitation, with a strong track record of success in leading group discussions and workshops for targeted K-12 student populations. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences. u2022 Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. u2022 Ability to work independently or as part of a team. u2022 Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if required. u2022 Knowledge of human services and NH/DD/SAS network u2022 Knowledge of State Services and Definitions as outlined in MH/DD/SAS u2022 Knowledge of basic office practices and procedure Why Work for Adecco? u00b7 Excellent weekly pay u00b7 401(k) Plan u00b7 Skills training and career development u00b7 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits IMPORTANT: This position is being recruited for by Adeccou2019s Healthcare and Life Science division, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
