Extrusion Operator (3rd Shift) Direct Hire Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Pay: $27u2013$33/hour Bonus: $1,500 Sign-On Bonus We are hiring an experienced Blown Film Extrusion Operator for a direct hire opportunity on 3rd shift in Pleasant Prairie. Candidates must have prior experience with blown film or blow film extrusion processes . This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining blown film extrusion equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are achieved. Responsibilities: Machine Operation & Setup + Set up blown film extrusion lines, including dies, calibrators, and downstream equipment based on production requirements + Operate blown film extrusion machinery safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets + Start up and shut down equipment according to standard operating procedures Process Control & Optimization + Monitor extrusion process parameters including temperature, pressure, and line speed + Make process adjustments to optimize output, quality, and efficiency + Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions + Minimize waste, scrap, and material loss Quality Assurance + Inspect finished film products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards + Conduct in-process checks and accurately document results + Identify defects and escalate quality concerns promptly Equipment Maintenance + Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on blown film extrusion equipment + Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance + Ensure machinery remains in proper working condition Health, Safety & Compliance + Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Report equipment issues, hazards, or incidents immediately Documentation & Reporting + Maintain accurate production logs, reports, and records + Track downtime, scrap, and efficiency metrics + Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status Qualifications: + Required experience with blown film / blow film extrusion + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities + Experience with extrusion line setup, process optimization, and quality control + Ability to follow SOPs, production schedules, and safety standards + Strong attention to detail and commitment to production goals Benefits: + Direct hire opportunity + Competitive pay: $27u2013$33/hour + $1,500 sign-on bonus + Career advancement opportunities + Full benefits package If you have blown film extrusion experience and are looking for a long-term direct hire opportunity with strong compensation, apply today.
