DescriptionAmazon Web Services is seeking a Storage Specialist Solutions Architect to join our Global Financial Services (GFS) Specialist team. In this role, you will work with customers, introduce new technologies, and adopt new solutions. In addition, you will be responsible for running technical go-to-market initiatives, surfacing customers insights to the product teams, and providing thought leadership to customers and partners. We're seeking a Storage Solutions Architect for our GFS Specialists team who will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing sophisticated customer solutions. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with customers to enable large-scale implementations and accelerate adoption of advanced AWS services. You'll partner with field Solution Architects to provide guidance on customer engagements, while creating white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations that empower customers to fully utilize AWS capabilities. Our Specialist Solutions Architects are recognized as technical visionaries who champion emerging technologies both conceptually and architecturally. They play an instrumental role in advancing cloud computing adoption within the Enterprise space. These individuals think innovatively to deliver results and design solutions that are cost-efficient, mission-aligned, and security-focused. As part of our team, you'll employ a customer-centric approach to develop AWS storage solutions and orchestrate the migration of complex workloads to the AWS cloud. Key job responsibilities u2022 Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers. u2022 Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap. u2022 Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customersu2019 largest and most critical business challenges. u2022 You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies, u2022 Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. u2022 Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class Go to Market concepts, solutions, and initiatives. u2022 Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. u2022 Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
