Submit your application for the opportunity below: Clerical Documentation Assistant CDA Job Summary and Qualifications Full time (Monday - Friday, day shift), no nights, no on-call, no weekends, no holidays Seeking a Clerical Documentation Assistant (CDA) who assists the provider with navigating the medical record, locating information for review and researching information as requested. What you will do in this role: + CDAs must be present during the clinical service encounter and capture accurate and detailed documentation of the patient/Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) /Independent Advanced Practice Professional (Independent APP) encounter in a timely manner (during the encounter or immediately following the patient encounter). + Assisting the provider with navigating the medical record + Locating information for review + Researching information as requested by the provider + Performs other related job functions as assigned What Qualifications you will need: EDUCATION: + High School Diploma or GED equivalent required + Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred) EXPERIENCE: + Minimum one-year experience as a scribe or previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting required + Medical Terminology Course Preferred CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: + Medical Scribe Certification (Preferred) Benefits Texas Joint Institute, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
