About the role As SDET u2013 Java & Playwright Automation with Retirement Insurance Domain , you will make an impact by designing and driving scalable, highu2011quality test automation solutions that ensure reliable and secure digital products within the Retirement Insurance domain. You will be a valued member of the quality engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. In this role, you will: u2022 Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks for web and backend systems u2022 Define and own the automation testing strategy and roadmap aligned with product quality and delivery goals u2022 Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and continuous feedback u2022 Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure code testability and participate in automation code reviews u2022 Lead defect management, reporting, and test coverage optimization while mentoring junior team members Work model: We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. What you need to have to be considered u2022 Strong experience as an SDET with Java, including minor code and defect fixes u2022 Handsu2011on expertise with Playwright using Ja vaScript or TypeScript u2022 Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks u2022 Knowledge of CI/CD integration using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions u2022 Domain expertise in Retirement Insurance systems u2022 Effective communication and crossu2011team collaboration skills These will help you stand out u2022 Experience using Selenium for test automation u2022 Familiarity with GitHub Copilot t o improve development productivity u2022 Proven mentoring or technical leadership experience within QA or SDET teams Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until May 18, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
