This job was posted by : For more information,please see: Sealing with MaintenanceMay - SeptemberHours: Monday Thursday from 7am- 5:30pm; Overtime may be expected.Hourly wage: $19.00/HourDuties/Requirements:Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, willing to takedirection on processes and procedures & able to independently workoutdoors in the heat.Work harmoniously with the same crew each dayCare for and maintain District 1-ton trucks and related Chip SealequipmentRake and shovel chips and oil to ensure coverage of edges, corners, andsewer access holes where equipment cannot reachMay operate roller to assist with chip seal effortsMay knock on doors to get cars moved to advance chip seal effortsTroubleshoot and repair simple equipment issues when ableWalk up to 10 miles per day while in moving traffic and theRight-of-WaySafely work around moving construction equipment such as dump trucks andchip spreadersThis position is open immediately and will remain open until it isfilled.
