Job Description The HVAC Lead is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of HVAC systems for a semiconductor fabrication facility, including cleanroom and make-up air handling, fan filter units, cooling coil banks, multiple exhaust systems by unique contaminants (and the appropriate scrubbing technologies to treat them to environmental standards), CFD and air flow modeling, etc. This role ensures compliance with stringent environmental, safety, and industry standards while optimizing system performance and reliability. Key responsibilities include overseeing detailed engineering, managing vendor and contractor interfaces, validating design specifications, and supporting installation, commissioning, and startup activities. Expertise in cleanroom airflow dynamics, exhaust treatment technologies, and high-purity environments is essential Basic Job Requirements u2022 Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors u2022 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job u2022 Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines u2022 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner u2022 Professional registration and membership in technical society (preferred) u2022 Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials u2022 Effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting u2022 Managing and leading a large project u2022 Project set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-out u2022 Practical field experience u2022 Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs Other Job Requirements Preferred Qualifications We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidateu2019s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
