Provide assistance to the legal staff through the exercise of professional skill and expertise.Essential Functions Perform legal research, analysis and summary of complex reports for review by an attorney. Assist attorneys in planning, organizing, coordinating and tracking programs and projects associated with various legal matters handled in the legal department. Draft legal documents and correspondence for review and approval by attorneys. Responds to requests for information of other departments and prepares appropriate reports and memoranda. Provides timely assistance to the company’s outside counsel as requested. Conducts training programs for management and company personnel regarding legal issues. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Paralegal certification or 2 years paralegal experience (in addition to experience required below).Minimum ExperienceOne (1) year paralegal experience.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Legal process and systems.Excellent research and writing skills.Strong organization, human relations, communication and computer skills.Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, and Outlook.Job ConditionsHours may vary due to organizational need.Some travel required.Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years paralegal or Legal Ops experience; strong legal ops, contract lifecycle, and compliance tracking skills; advanced MS Office and legal tech proficiency; bilingual Spanish/English; paralegal certification required.
