Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Forming Operator:Read and understand manufacturing job orders to determine directions and processing of parts to be takenOrder material from the warehouseWork safely and follow safety policies and procedures including Lockout Tagout as requiredAssist in general daily maintenance of equipmentAccurately count parts and clocking of time, parts, scrap, etc. in manufacturing softwarePerform value-added checks and quality checks prior to beginning work and throughout the process to ensure accurate start and completion of the job orderComplete labor reporting accurately through manufacturing softwarSet up machines and equipment as needed according to the job order requirements or set up sheet informationMake boxes, sort, stack, and count partsTrain new operators on equipmentWhat You Need to Bring to the Forming Operator Role:High school diploma or GED6+ months of related experience and/or trainingManufacturing experience is preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
