Stay updated on industry changes and adjust quality practices accordingly. Audits: u2022 Perform QA/QC Inspections/Observations on a daily basis of assigned sites. u2022 Document findings include non-conformities, potential risks, and areas for improvement as outlined in the QA/QC checklist. u2022 Maintain accurate and organized records of all Inspection activities, findings, and follow-ups. u2022 Assist, when applicable, on training employees in quality standards and best practices to maintain consistent compliance. Corrective Actions: u2022 Detect any deviations from quality standards and report them QA/QC Manager, sitepervisors or other relevant personnel. u2022 Work with your Manager to provide recommendations to enhance quality standards, minimize risks, and improve efficiency. Other: u2022 Stay up to date with industry, manufacturing and internal standards, local, state and national codes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance. Qualifications: Familiarity in quality assurance/control. Learning Management System experience preferred Have an understanding of all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of adult learning concepts Agile in willingness and ability to take on different projects or learn new areas Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills Experience: Minimum of 2 years in structured cabling Have an understanding of both industry and manufactureru2019s standards and proper installation of cable infrastructure Skills audit, inspection report, low voltage, Quality assurance, attention to detail, documentation process, corrective action plans, Fiber optic cable, Technical support, Osp Top Skills Details audit,inspection report,low voltage,Quality assurance,attention to detail,documentation process,corrective action plans Additional Skills & Qualifications This is a pure QA/QC auditing role inside data centers. There is no installation work for this role but ideally the candidate will be willing to do install work, if quality work slows down to help support the team. This QA/QC technician will audits telecom installations to ensure everything is installed correctly, tested, dressed properly, and functioning as designed. Auditing and quality verification of: Telecom equipment Cabling (copper & fiber) Rack layouts and cable dressing -Equipment is already installed u2014 Quality Technician comes behind the install teams -Focused on: Audits, Inspections, Testing, Documentation -Strong understanding of: Preu2011terminated cables, Rack dressing and layout standards, Fiber and copper cabling concepts -Must understand how to look for issues -Must know what u201crightu201d looks like -Outsideu2011ofu2011datau2011center experience is acceptable if fundamentals are strong: Examples: CAT5/6 installs, fiber termination, telecom work Must think like an auditor, not an installer -Strong attention to detail -Think critically -Identify risks and nonu2011conformities -Communicate findings clearly and professionally -Comfortable documenting issues and distributing reports Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.
