Paralegal

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support litigation matters in Austin, Texas. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage discovery activities, organize case materials, and assist attorneys through all phases of civil litigation. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex legal work in sectors such as clean energy and solar energy while maintaining accurate documentation and case coordination. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate discovery workflows by collecting, reviewing, organizing, and tracking documents for litigation matters. u2022 Assist attorneys with civil litigation support, including drafting case materials, maintaining files, and preparing matter summaries. u2022 Prepare hearing and trial binders, exhibits, witness materials, and other documentation needed for trial readiness. u2022 Maintain accurate records and deadlines within case management software to support efficient matter administration. u2022 Conduct legal and factual research to help build case strategy and support ongoing litigation activities. u2022 Monitor court dates, filing deadlines, and document production schedules to keep cases progressing on time. u2022 Support matters related to clean energy, solar energy, and bankruptcy proceedings as assigned. u2022 Collaborate with internal legal teams and outside counsel to ensure timely communication and well-organized case documentation. Requirements u2022 Experience supporting discovery processes in a litigation environment. u2022 Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and legal documentation. u2022 Ability to assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, filings, and case organization. u2022 Proficiency with case management software and document tracking systems. u2022 Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and deadlines. u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills in a legal setting. u2022 Exposure to matters involving clean energy, solar energy, or bankruptcy is preferred.
