Job Title: R&D TechnicianJob Description Join our dynamic team as an R&D Technician, where you will support scientists with daily laboratory tasks and preparation. You will assist with sample preparation, weighing samples, and eventually engage in minor lab testing such as pH, dilutions, and wet chemistry. Your role will also involve cleaning glassware and stocking inventory in the R&D labs. You will be expected to follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices, ensuring that analytical activities and results are documented accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities + Assist scientists with daily lab tasks and preparation. + Prepare and weigh samples. + Engage in minor lab testing including pH, dilutions, and wet chemistry. + Clean glassware and stock inventory in R&D labs. + Follow work instructions, SOPs, and company practices. + Document analytical activities and results accurately and in a timely manner. + Maintain data integrity and follow written analytical procedures. + Identify execution challenges of analytical methods and support troubleshooting activities. Essential Skills + Experience with dilutions, sample preparation, chemistry, biochemistry, wet chemistry, titration, pH, viscosity, and gas chromatography. + Prior lab experience or training. + Ability to work in a team environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data acquisition software. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Scientific judgment and professional competency. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or Associate's degree in Science. Work Environment Work in a state-of-the-art laboratory with a clean GMP environment. The team consists of Scientist I's, II's, and III's, working collaboratively to complete tasks, though individual work is also required. The dress code is business casual. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential flexibility for a 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. start time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
