Summary Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Operations Support, Immediate Office of the Executive Assistant Commissioner located in Washington DC. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above. Responsibilities This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst (Executive Assistant) within the Immediate Office of the Executive Assistant Commissioner (IEAC), providing principal administrative support and expert guidance to senior leadership. By ensuring the effective management of office operations, procedures, and communications, this role directly enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of CBP Operations Support's executive leadership and mission. This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Typical duties include: Conducting comprehensive analyses of management programs and processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinating and managing executive schedules, briefings, and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate communication between leadership and internal/external stakeholders. Preparing high-level reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior management, synthesizing complex information into actionable insights for decision-making. Providing executive administrative support, including drafting correspondence, managing sensitive information, and coordinating logistics for meetings, events, and travel. Developing, interpreting, and implementing organizational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and alignment with agency priorities.
