Contracts Administrator - Transportation

Description Robert Half is looking for a Contracts Administrator to support transportation-related commercial agreements for a Contract position based in Minnesota. This opportunity focuses on managing a range of customer, carrier, and vendor contracts within the motor freight forwarding industry while helping ensure terms are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience reviewing and coordinating freight and logistics agreements in a fast-paced commercial environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft, review, and administer transportation-related agreements, ensuring contract terms are clearly documented and properly maintained. u2022 Manage commercial documentation tied to shipper partnerships, carrier arrangements, and third-party logistics relationships. u2022 Coordinate the preparation, revision, and tracking of broker and carrier contracts to support ongoing business needs. u2022 Evaluate transportation vendor agreements for completeness, risk exposure, and alignment with negotiated pricing and service terms. u2022 Support bid and proposal activities by organizing contract details, pricing information, and required commercial documentation. u2022 Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate contract negotiations and help resolve issues related to terms, renewals, and obligations. u2022 Maintain accurate contract records and monitor key dates, amendments, and compliance requirements across active agreements. Requirements u2022 3+ years of experience with commercial contracts u2022 Experience in contract administration within transportation, logistics, or freight-related commercial operations. u2022 Working knowledge of shipper agreements, broker and carrier contracts, and 3PL documentation. u2022 Ability to review, interpret, and manage commercial terms, pricing structures, and contractual obligations. u2022 Background supporting contract negotiations, renewals, and bid-related documentation. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple agreements and deadlines effectively. u2022 Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal teams. u2022 Proficiency in contract management practices and attention to detail when handling legal and commercial documents.
