Description DESCRIPTION u2219 Direct all accounting functions including billing, A/P, A/R, payroll, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, case cost management, and expense management u2219 Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements; manage year-end close process u2219 Coordinate external audit materials and interact with third-party CPAs on accounting issues and journal entries u2219 Manage outgoing ACH and wire transfers with meticulous attention to fraud prevention u2219 Oversee trust account activities and ensure regulatory compliance u2219 Design and maintain financial controls, policies, and risk management practices u2219 Manage case reporting and T& E reporting with firm leadership and co-counsel u2219 Oversee Tabs3 time management system including billing and user administration u2219 Draft accounting policies and implement process improvements u2219 Manage semi-monthly payroll, 401K eligibility tracking, and benefits administration u2219 Oversee HR compliance, employment law updates, and multistate registrations u2219 Administer cloud-based systems including QuickBooks, Tabs3, Egencia, Certify, and Trakstar Requirements REQUIRED u2219 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or equivalent u2219 7+ years accounting experience u2219 5+ years in a law firm or professional services environment u2219 QuickBooks proficiency u2014 review and oversight level u2219 Tabs3 or equivalent law firm billing software u2219 Time entry management and fee reporting experience u2219 Trust account and IOLTA experience u2219 Payroll review and sign-off experience u2219 PST availability PREFERRED u2219 CPA or CLM u2219 Aderant experience u2219 ERP migration experience Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
