What You Will Be Doing As the Test Engineer Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for combining projectu2011management leadership with handsu2011on mechanicalu2011design engineering to deliver testu2011equipment hardware and related mechanical solutions across multiple production programs. Your responsibilities will include: + Coordinate testu2011equipment procurement, repairs, calibrations, and sustainment with Production Ops, MTE, Metrology, suppliers, and repair shops. + Maintain accurate configuration baselines and inventory of all test equipment in partnership with the Design Lead. + Lead 3u2011D modeling (Catia/AutoCAD) of subsystem test platforms, translate system requirements into specifications, and produce tooling/maintenance instructions. + Apply knowledge of fuel, hydraulic and other aircraft subsystems to validate performance through mechanical test equipment. + Develop requirements, conduct supplier drawing reviews, manage EET, create/revise toolu2011maintenance documentation, and coordinate equipment repairs. Basic Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability to manage projects, track business metrics (cost, schedule, quality), and deliver on time and within budget. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, system schematics, and CAD drawings. - Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance Desired Skills: - Experience supporting functions (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Test Engineering, or other Production Support organizations). - Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering or a related technology discipline (e.g., Engineering Technology). - Mechanical Troubleshooting Experience u2013 Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve problems with hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel system components. - Hands on experience with test equipment and automated test frameworks (e.g., RTS, VSWR, etc.). Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools (Catia, AutoCAD) Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Experience with Mechanical Testing u2013 Ability to develop and execute test plans for airu2011box assemblies, covering pressureu2011rise/runu2011down cycles, leaku2011rate verification, burstu2011pressure testing, and functional validation of inlet/outlet flow paths. - Strong communication skillsu2014both verbal and writtenu2014to interact with peers, internal/external customers, management, and production technicians daily. - Active Secret clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
