Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall - Job Summary :Performs daily Housekeeping duties inside and outside Facility under supervision of Housekeeping SupervisorJob Responsibilities:Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas dailyCleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areasKeeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly storedCommunicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the ResidentsEnsures equipment and work areas are clean, safe and orderly and all cleaning solutions are properly labeledMaintains cleanliness of all baseboards throughout the buildingHelps clean tables and floors in dining room and day rooms after mealsCleans and changes privacy curtains and drapery in Residents’ rooms as scheduled, or as neededCleans carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfectingQualifications:Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties; prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background CheckExcellent Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) including:Vacation payPaid sick leaveInsurance benefits including:Group Health insuranceDental insuranceVision InsuranceOther Benefits:Holiday Incentive PayDaily Pay - upon your requestDirect depositBereavement leaveRetirement Savings Plan/401KEmployee Assistance ProgramFamily Medical Leave
