We are currently looking to hire an energetic and dedicated full time Dental Assistant to join our awesome team! In this position, you will work with a fun and exceptional group of oral and maxillofacial surgeons and staff. The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a great work ethic. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment but still keep attention to detail. Please note: you must be able to travel to all of our offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw. Essential Job Responsibilities:Assist the surgeon during a variety of surgical proceduresSet up and tear down operatoriesTake digital dental radiographsManage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentProvide patients with post op instructions following proceduresPerform other various office tasks as necessaryTravel to our other offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw as neededEducation/Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED (required)Non-Expired Indiana Dental Radiographer License (required)Basic computer skills (required)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required)Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)Certified Dental Assistant (preferred)CPR Certification (preferred)One-year dental assisting experience (preferred)Previous digital radiology experience (preferred)Physical Requirements:General office activities as requiredGood manual dexterityBend or twist their bodyAbility to walk and stand for extended periods of timeCompensation/Benefits:Competitive pay based on experienceBenefit package which includes: medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, retirement plan, PTO time, paid holidays, birthday off with pay, discretionary bonusesUniform ReimbursementContinuing Education ReimbursementStaff appreciation events throughout the yearTo apply, please go to our NEW careers page at: .
