Markon is building a talent pool of Mechanical Engineers to support future Intelligence Community customer missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify qualified candidates experienced in supporting mechanical engineering design efforts across facility and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and mission requirements. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings aligned to customer mission and infrastructure priorities.Develop and/or review planning documentsConduct building code compliance evaluationsPerform peer reviews of plans, specifications, and technical reportsDevelop design concepts and detailed mechanical system designsCoordinate with architectural, civil/structural, and electrical disciplinesSupport project activities during design, bid, and construction phasesDevelop and review project schedulesConduct cost-benefit and feasibility studiesDevelop lifecycle cost estimatesServe as project or team lead as requiredDevelop scopes of work and provide contract administration supportConduct technical studies and analysesLead production of design and technical documentationEnsure adherence to technical and design standardsMust have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraphMust have an ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.EIT Certificate required; Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.Ability to develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects.Experienced user on commonly used CADD software, including REVITBachelor's degree in related field with 10 years of experience (PM5)Must be able to travel 10-20% including OCONUSDesired:Certified Building Commissioning Professional certification preferredAutodesk Certified Professional preferredProject Manager Professional (PMP) certification preferredUSD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
