Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Software Design Engineer Location: Redmond, WA - Onsite Pay Rate Range: $59.75 - $61.50 On Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/PTO) The ideal resume would contain strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET development, Microsoft Azure, and cloud services; no additional differentiators beyond meeting the main requirements were specified. TOP SKILLS TO HAVE: Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each: 1) C# / .NET Development (5-7 years) u2022 Strong, hands on experience developing production systems using C# across.NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+). u2022 Proven experience working on large or legacy codebases, including refactoring, modernizing projects, and improving code quality. u2022 Experience with SDK style project migrations, NuGet package upgrades, and.NET runtime/framework upgrades. u2022 Ability to write maintainable, testable code and troubleshoot complex issues in services-oriented systems. 2) Microsoft Azure & Cloud Services (5-7 years) u2022 Hands on experience building, deploying, and operating services in Microsoft Azure. u2022 Experience developing and maintaining RESTful Web APIs hosted in Azure. u2022 Practical experience with Azure environments, including subscriptions, resource groups, and service configuration. u2022 Familiarity with cloud based CI/CD workflows and platform upgrades impacting live services. 3) Infrastructure as Code & DevOps Foundations (5-7 years) u2022 Strong experience defining and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep). u2022 Experience upgrading or migrating build and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent). u2022 Understanding of infrastructure modernization efforts such as pipeline migrations, environment isolation, and platform compliance requirements. u2022 Proven ability to improve developer productivity by strengthening build reliability, test pipelines, and automation.
