STEMatch Test Engineering Summer Internship

Job Description _This position is for students participating in the STEMatch Program._ As a test engineering intern you will work with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and suggest improvements; perform deep dive reviews on benchtop RF test processes; establish redlines and work with engineering team for implementation; support root cause problem solving activities through data collection and analysis; document actions and results and present to engineering team; perform RF Test Equipment Capability Analysis and establish control limits for various benchtop test operations, and work with QA, design, and manufacturing teams to enhance product quality. _In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program._ Required Education, Experience, & Skills + Must be a current participant in the STEMatch Program + Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team + Technical report writing and data presentation + Data analysis knowledge and experience with MS Excel, MATLAB, or Minitab. + Basic engineering fundamentals to interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures + Understanding of RF or electrical engineering fundamentals Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $45553 - $63330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
