Hereu2019s what the opportunity supported through our TGS Talent Acquisition Team requires: This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, and implementing the components, software, and layers required for complex software implementations based on requirements and design specifications. As part of the team in charge of building and delivering a solution, this person will perform tasks including analysis, design, testing, architecture, planning, estimation, coding, debugging and knowledge transfer. Team members identify needs, estimate and commit to delivering on those tasks, and track the status of those tasks to completion. Key Accountabilities and Priorities: u2022 Analyze and understand user and computer systems requirements as well as design solutions and write specifications for computer programs u2022 Participate to any software development lifecycle activity; estimating, planning, designing, coding, documenting and testing of software applications u2022 Provide technical mentorship to project team members, for example participating to code review u2022 Work closely with the Team lead or any other person in charge of the team u2022 Responsible for the Analysis of software applications and computer systems u2022 Assist in analyzing, designing and developing new software applications including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs in support of the Software Development Life Cycle Required Education and/or Experience: u2022 7+ years of experience in Object Oriented analysis, design, development and integration of software products in a company recognized for software development capability u2022 5+ years development experience with Python (packages, modules, Flask, Jinja templates, etc.) u2022 2+ years development experience with SQL Alchemy and ORM libraries u2022 2+ years development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript (JQuery needed) u2022 Experience using software best practices like test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration. u2022 Experience working with Agile methods and iterative development, such as SCRUM, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and pair programming u2022 Solid experience with design patterns, refactoring and unit testing and object oriented analysis/design. u2022 Familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server. Desirable Experience u2022 3+ years development experience with Java (j2EE, Hibernate, Spring, etc.) u2022 2+ years development experience with ReactJs u2022 2+ years Cloud experience preferred with AWS u2022 Experience with CloudFormation templates or SDK for deploying AWS resources and services u2022 Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub actions u2022 Experience configuring automates tests, SonarQube, security scans (BlackDuck) and automated deployments in the pipeline u2022 Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk u2022 Understands different deployment strategies like Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling Deployment, etc Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: u2022 Excellent communication skills - must be strong enough for customer facing situations. u2022 Demonstrate problem solving skills to deal with complex situations while providing creative solutions u2022 Strive for continuous improvement and personal development, proactively encouraging the same from team members Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $91700.00 - $137500.00/yr. We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
