Sr. Snowflake Developer _Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future._ About the role As a Sr. Snowflake Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake and Python technologies. You will be a valued member of the data engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and processing. In this role, you will: u2022 Develop and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Python to meet business requirements. u2022 Design and maintain Snowflake tasks, streams, and pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration. u2022 Optimize Snowflake SQL queries for performance and reliability in large-scale data environments. u2022 Implement and manage Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion and processing workflows. u2022 Conduct code reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving data solutions and workflows. What you need to have to be considered u2022 Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in data engineering or software development (maximum 12 years). u2022 Strong expertise in Snowflake SQL, Snowflake Streams, Snowflake Tasks, and Snowpipe for data processing and integration. u2022 Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and workflow optimization. u2022 Solid understanding of data architecture principles and best practices for scalable solutions. u2022 Familiarity with data security and governance standards to ensure compliance. The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 u2013 $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
