Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing industry specializing in seafood processing, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be part of the Human Resources Department supporting production, warehouse, quality assurance, maintenance, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, proactive problem-solving, and strong organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Human Resources Generalist Location: Anacortes, WA Pay Range:$30/hr-$35/hr DOE Shift:Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm What's the Job? + Recruit, interview, and hire a diverse range of employees including production staff, sanitation, warehouse, quality assurance, maintenance, and administrative personnel. + Manage hiring processes, coordinate job postings, applicant tracking, background checks, onboarding, and new hire documentation. + Address employee relations issues such as attendance, coaching, disciplinary actions, grievances, and workplace concerns. + Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, OSHA, workersu2019 compensation, and safety regulations. + Support payroll processing, benefits enrollment, leave management, and employee recordkeeping to maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation. What's Needed? + Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environments. + Strong knowledge of Washington State and Federal labor laws and employment regulations. + Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and automated payroll systems (ERP).
