Project Manager u2013 Data Center (Owneru2019s Representative) Location: Remote, with travel. About the Role Weu2019re looking for an experienced and highly driven Project Manager (Owneru2019s Representative) to lead the delivery of a ground-up, mission-critical data center project. In this role, youu2019ll serve as the owneru2019s trusted advisor and advocateu2014driving execution from early planning through commissioning and final handover. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure, collaborating with top-tier engineers, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring best-in-class performance, reliability, and efficiency. What Youu2019ll Do + Act as the Owneru2019s Representative, safeguarding project goals, budget, timeline, and quality standards + Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale data center build, from site development through commissioning + Develop and manage project scope, schedule (Primavera/MS Project), and CapEx budgets + Coordinate across owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors + Facilitate design reviews, progress meetings, and critical decision-making sessions + Oversee MEP systems implementation, including power (UPS, generators, switchgear), cooling (CRAC/CRAH, chillers), and structured cabling + Drive adherence to Uptime Institute Tier standards, ANSI/TIA-942, and local codes + Monitor construction quality, safety, and contractor performance + Manage risk identification, mitigation strategies, and change control processes + Lead commissioning efforts and integrated systems testing (IST) + Track budgets, forecasts, and cost variances; review invoices and change orders + Provide clear, executive-level project reporting What You Bring + 5u201310 years of construction project management experience + 3u20135+ years working in data center or mission-critical environments + Proven experience as an Owneru2019s Representative + Strong knowledge of MEP systems and critical infrastructure + Expertise with tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, and Procore + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + Background in commercial or large-scale infrastructure construction Why Join Us? + Work on a high-visibility, cutting-edge data center project + Collaborate with industry-leading teams and technologies + Opportunity for long-term career growth with potential full-time conversion + Competitive benefits including: + 6 paid holidays + 2 weeks PTO Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $156000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
