Skilled Trades Technician -- Residential RenovationsLocation: Cuyahoga, Lake & Summit CountiesJob Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and skilled trades professional to support residential renovation and repair projects across multiple job sites. This role involves hands-on work across several trades, including drywall, flooring, carpentry, and light plumbing. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities- Perform drywall installation, patching, and finishing- Install flooring (LVP, laminate, tile, or hardwood preferred)- Complete basic to intermediate carpentry work (framing, trim, doors, etc.)- Perform light plumbing tasks, including fixture replacement and minor repairs- Conduct general property repairs and maintenance- Read and follow scopes of work, project outlines, or blueprints- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites- Communicate progress, issues, and material needs in a timely manner- Ensure work meets quality standards and project timelines------------------------------------------------------------------------ Required Qualifications- Proven experience in drywall, flooring, carpentry, and/or plumbing- Valid driver's license- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites- Own basic tools required for the trade- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship- Good communication and problem-solving skills------------------------------------------------------------------------ Preferred Qualifications- Experience with residential rehabs, flips, or rental property maintenance- Ability to manage small projects independently- Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards- OSHA certification (preferred, not required)------------------------------------------------------------------------ Physical Requirements- Ability to lift 50+ pounds- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on ladders for extended periods- Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments------------------------------------------------------------------------ Compensation & Perks- Competitive pay based on experience- Opportunity for consistent work and long-term engagement- Growth opportunities into lead or project management roles- Flexible scheduling (where applicable)------------------------------------------------------------------------ Additional Requirements- Must be punctual and dependable- Must maintain a professional attitude on job sites- Background check may be required- Ability to pass a drug screening (if applicable)
