Staff Accountant

Description A growing organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in an inu2011office role. This Staff Accountant position plays a critical role in daily accounting operations, including cash activity, reconciliations, and crossu2011department coordination. Staff Accountant's Responsibilities: + Post and track daily cash activity and prepare journal entries + Prepare daily and monthu2011end reconciliations + Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams + Reconcile cash receipts from domestic and foreign sister companies + Maintain prepaid expense schedules and related journal entries + Administer travel and expense compliance and approval processes + Prepare customer invoices and AR billings + Support sales and use tax preparation and filings across multiple states and foreign jurisdictions + Process online tax payments for various jurisdictions + Perform general ledger reconciliations + Compile financial data for internal reporting requests + Act as a gou2011to resource for accounting questions and issue resolution + Assist with additional accounting duties as needed Requirements What Theyu2019re Looking For: + Staff Accountant experience or strong accounting foundation + Ability to quickly ramp up and take ownership + Teamu2011oriented mindsetu2014must be open to crossu2011training + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Degree in accounting, finance or business related field + Gaming industry experience is preferred, not required Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
