As a Consult Partner, you will play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements and creating strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite u2014 spanning the intersection of complex business and IT transformation. We are hiring a Consult Partner to drive meaningful growth within an existing portfolio of insurance accounts. These accounts have foundational relationships in place but represent significant white space u2014 limited Kyndryl footprint with substantial runway for expansion. This is a hunter-farmer hybrid role for someone who thrives in building from a base, not inheriting a mature book of business. You will own, run, and grow a targeted set of accounts u2014 focusing your energy where you have the greatest right to win and where clients have an immediate need to modernize mission-critical business lines through AI-driven transformation. Sector Focus + Deep expertise in the Life Insurance and Annuities sector, including carriers and distribution ecosystems + Strong understanding of policy administration systems (PAS) and the surrounding technology landscape (billing, claims, CRM, data, actuarial platforms) + Familiarity with leading core platforms (e.g., Vantage, FAST, ALIP, Sapiens, etc.) and modernization programs Sales & Client Engagement + Proven track record of originating, shaping, and closing both complex and straightforward transformation deals within Life Insurance + Ability to engage C-suite and senior business/technology stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive pipeline growth + Skilled at translating business challenges into technology-led solutions that deliver measurable value + Acts as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on modernization strategies while aligning solutions to business priorities Core Capabilities + Deep understanding of the end-to-end life insurance value chain, including: + Underwriting and new business + Policy administration and servicing + Actuarial modeling, valuation, and risk management + Finance, reporting, and regulatory operations + Ability to credibly engage actuarial, underwriting, and finance stakeholders, translating between technical, actuarial, and business perspectives to shape and sell solutions + Ability to position and sell modernization of legacy PAS environments, including: + Cloud and platform transformation + Data and analytics enablement + Intelligent automation and AI AI & Value Proposition + Ability to sell and articulate AI-driven transformation, including: + Use of AI/GenAI to enhance underwriting, actuarial insights, and customer lifecycle management + Application of Agentic AI to streamline policy administration and enterprise workflows + Clearly connects solutions to business outcomes, such as: + Faster underwriting and improved risk selection + Enhanced actuarial insight and financial forecasting + Improved customer and agent experience + Reduced operating costs and increased efficiency Market Presence + Established relationships across Life Insurance carriers and ecosystem partners in the Northeast + Recognized as a strategic seller and advisor to both business and technology leaders, including actuarial, finance, and underwriting functions Kyndryl currently does not require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, if you are hired to work at a client, customer, or partner location, you may be required to show proof of vaccination to align with their respective COVID-19 vaccination policies. What You Will Do Account Growth & Business Development + Inherit a small portfolio of insurance accounts with existing paperwork and base-level traction u2014 then grow them into sizable, meaningful revenue relationships + Operate with a hunter-farmer mindset: open new doors within existing accounts while identifying and converting net-new opportunities + Focus growth where you have the greatest right to win, prioritizing clients with immediate AI transformation needs and mission-critical modernization agendas + Support the identification, pursuit, and conversion of a pipeline of opportunities; manage scoping, fee negotiation, and risk across engagements Client Engagement + Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs and senior executives u2014 becoming a trusted advisor and the go-to person for strategic technology decisions + Lead C-level client interactions and consulting initiatives, delivering high-quality outcomes alongside senior stakeholders + Drive client satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and secure client references for expanded engagement Financial Accountability + Drive significant financial outcomes through signings, revenue targets, and backlog growth + Ensure sustained profitability, managing margin expectations across engagements + Achieve individual and team utilization targets while maintaining delivery excellence Leadership & Strategic Contribution + Lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex consulting engagements, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous development + Utilize insurance industry and technology expertise to shape Kyndryl's strategic initiatives and align with the company's broader vision + Drive external eminence u2014 developing thought leadership, intellectual capital, and a strong personal and organizational brand in the market What You Bring + Proven, repeatable track record of owning, growing, and expanding accounts from a small base into significant revenue relationships + Demonstrated ability to operate in white space u2014 building relationships and pipeline in markets where infrastructure and brand recognition are still developing + Experience in a hunter-farmer hybrid capacity with measurable outcomes in both account expansion and new logo development + Comfort engaging at the CXO level with credibility, gravitas, and the ability to advise on both business strategy and technology transformation + Familiarity with AI-driven transformation use cases and the ability to articulate their value to insurance sector executives + Existing market relationships that accelerate time-to-trust with target accounts Why Kyndryl Consult Kyndryl Consult is the fastest-growing practice within Kyndryl u2014 and for good reason. The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $185,760 to $334,320 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California (San Francisco Bay Area): $222,960 to $401,160 California (All Other): $204,360 to $367,800 Colorado: $185,760 to $334,320 Massachusetts: $185,760 to $367,800 New York City: $222,960 to $401,160 Washington: $204,360 to $367,800 Washington DC: $204,360 to $367,800 This position will be eligible for Kyndrylu2019s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndrylu2019s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
