Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to serve as a key liaison supporting pharmacy operations across multiple facilities throughout Maryland and Virginia. This direct hire, travel-based role requires building strong partnerships with facility leadership and staff to ensure quality medication therapy and compliance. Location: Travel throughout facilities in Virginia and Maryland, including Alexandria, Woodbridge, Fairfax, Richmond, Goochland, Hampton, Newport News, and select Maryland locations. Schedule: Monday to Friday Primarily 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours/week) Occasional flexibility needed for later audits or visits Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at assigned facilities Act as the main point of contact for pharmacy-related needs and services Provide medication therapy guidance and compliance support in collaboration with clinical service directors Address inquiries and resolve concerns promptly Identify opportunities to expand services and introduce new products Conduct training sessions for facility staff on medication processes and systems Perform monthly onsite visits and prepare reports to support customer success Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare facilities for surveys Conduct medication cart/room inspections and medication pass observations as requested Coordinate with internal pharmacy teams for seamless service delivery Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid Pharmacy Technician licenses for Virginia and Maryland (required) PTCB certification preferred Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings highly desirable Proficiency with pharmacy and medication distribution software such as EMAR, Medbank, Frameworks Reliable transportation; flexibility for overnight stays as travel demands This is a travel-focused role that demands strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. Mileage and hotel expenses related to travel will be reimbursed.
